Date with the deity: Being Durga for the small screen after 14 years was definitely a moment of “great excitement” for Locket Chatterjee. “I had done a programme for Doordarshan as Durga in 1996. After so many years it was a lot of fun to morph into Durga for Ruposhi Bangla for a special Mahalaya programme,” she smiled. The one-hour Mahalaya Special will be aired on October 12, 4am.
