The film stars Chanchal Chowdhury, Monami Ghosh, Korak Samanta, Samrat Chakraborty and more. “Mrinal Sen was the game-changing, convention-challenging doyen of World Cinema. Padatik captures his struggle, his journey and looks at the fast-changing world through his eyes,” said Srijit. “We have always believed in making meaningful cinema and we can’t think of a better way of paying tribute to the legendary filmmaker Mrinal Sen, than with our film Padatik,” said producer Firdausul Hasan. The film is produced by Friends Communication in association with Big Screen Productions.
