How do you feel about the success of your latest Twilight movie, Eclipse?
I feel on top of the moon after Twilight Eclipse! It is so exciting to receive such positive feedback from all my fans from all over the world.... I am just thankful to be in this industry and for all the support I have received. Acting gives me a high; I am very passionate about it. I have a lot of fun making movies and have had the time of my life over the past few years while shooting for the Twilight series. I met a lot of new people and was fortunate enough to get an opportunity to work with a lot of new, talented people. It has been a wonderful journey so far.
With lines such as “Admit it, I’m hotter than you”... how difficult was it for you to stay serious?
Believe me keeping a straight face and saying these lines were tough, but it is true... I was like, this is going to be so hard to deliver, and especially with a straight face. And looking at Rob (Pattinson) in the eye was tough. It is in the tent. It was funny, but it was one of those lines that were a little difficult to say to Rob.
In Twilight Eclipse, you and Bella have a stronger bond, so how did that happen?
At the start of Eclipse, Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob are friends but because Edward (Rob) has now proposed to Bella which hurt Jacob a lot. Once again deeper into the film and the story, Jacob and Bella start reconnecting again which I think leaves Eclipse at the height of the love triangle.
What makes Eclipse different from New Moon?
There’s a lot more action in this one, but for me, specifically, I’m a wolf. I was bummed, I wasn’t involved in too much action. I got to kiss Bella for the first time, so that was probably the biggest thing. Bella is a fantastic kisser! That was the most exciting new thing.
Does it help that you are friends with Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart while making the films?

With Kristen Stewart in Eclipse |
Definitely! It means everything to me. I can’t imagine filming if the entire cast were not close friends. It would be a nightmare. Rob, Kristen and myself are really close. It helps a lot. When you are filming you can be open and honest with each other, you can discuss things, and it just makes the filming process a lot easier and then promoting. Even if we are not shooting, we hang out during the weekends and catch up with one another. They are incredible people. Extremely talented and so down to earth. I’m sure once the movie is over, we will still be in touch with one another and cherish all the times we had while shooting.
In Twilight Eclipse you and Edward as a team work together to save Bella? So how was it teaming up with Edward?
In New Moon with all my passion, I hated Edward and now with Eclipse when I was forced to team up with Edward to protect Bella, I get to know Edward a little more. And that’s when Edward and I have a heart-to-heart talk while Bella is supposedly sleeping. During this conversation I realise, which I think is completely fair, that Edward can hear what is going inside my head but I have no idea about what’s going inside this dude’s head. So I ask him if you can peck through my brain then you better let me peck through yours.
You have so many passionate fans, what are some strange encounters you have had?
It feels great to have a huge fan following but at times, I want to say they are scary, but they are definitely passionate. I was in Australia and we were at this big fan event. There were like 4,000 fans and I was walking down the line. Fans like to hold out their hand or their arm for you to sign, and this one arm I went by had a massive tattoo of the wolf pack. The same exact one. It was pretty cool. She was like, “Can you sign it?” I was like, “Sure.” So, I signed right underneath it, and the next day somebody told me the girl got my signature tattooed right underneath the wolf pack tattoo. I didn’t know whether to think that was cool, or feel bad that I signed her arm. That is definitely some passion right there.
