If Dance Bangla Dance is dancing to Mithun Chakraborty’s tune on Zee Bangla, two sex sirens from Bollywood promise to sizzle on ETV Bangla’s Ritur Mela Jhum Tara Ra Ra Juti.

Koena Mitra and Tanushree Dutta will groove to chartbusters in a few special episodes of the second season on the celebrity dance show.

Koena will also appear as a special judge, alongside the current panel comprising film-maker Prabhat Roy, actress Indrani Dutta and dancer Tanushree Shankar. Ritur Mela has eight actors — Koneenica, Ananya, Rimjhim, Sohini, Muffin, Antara, Rana and Yash — each of whom teams up with a contestant.

Koena Mitra will sex up the show

“The idea is to provide a national platform to the participants. We had Shefali Jariwala and Javed Jaaferi in the first season of Ritur Mela Jhum Tara Ra Ra. Bollywood celebrities boost the energy levels of the performers,” said show director Shiboprasad Mukherjee.

The episodes with Koena and Tanushree will be aired between Christmas and New Year.

“We will also dedicate a episode to Rituparna Sengupta, the show’s brand ambassador. She will appear along with her Gauri co-star Atul Kulkarni. There will be another episode on Tarun Majumdar’s Chander Bari before the film’s release. The cast will perform to tracks from the film. We will recreate a bit of the film’s sets on the show,” added Mukherjee.
