Mind the Malhotras Season 2

Amazon Prime Video on Wednesday released the official trailer for Season 2 of their comedy series Mind the Malhotras, starring Cyrus Sahukar and Mini Mathur.

Prior to the trailer, the streaming service shared a poster of the upcoming show on Instagram along with the release date and wrote, “the malhotras are back here with season 2 which only means double the chaos #MindTheMalhotrasOnPrime, Aug 12.”

Helmed by Sahil Sangha and produced by Applause Entertainment in association with Madiba Entertainment, Mind the Malhotras is the Indian adaptation of the Israeli series La Famiglia. Season 2 of the series will also feature actors like Denzil Smith, Dalip Tahil, Nikki Sharma, Samir Kochhar and Anandita Pagnis among others.

Mind the Malhotras will be streaming on Amazon Prime Video from August 12.

Criminal Justice Adhura Sach

Disney+ Hotstar dropped the official trailer for Season 3 of their hit series Criminal Justice on Wednesday. Pankaj Tripathi reprises his role as lawyer Madhav Mishra in the latest season titled Criminal Justice Adhura Sach. The series also stars Shweta Basu Prasad, Purab Kohli and Swastika Mukherjee in prominent roles.

The one-minute-35-second-long trailer gives us a glimpse of the latest case in which criminal lawyer Madhav Mishra will have to bring his best game to prove his client’s innocence. Madhav reprises his usual wit along with new strategies and the everlasting quest for truth as he tackles one of the toughest cases of his career. Shweta Basu Prasad plays Assistant Public Prosecutor, Lekha, in the show. In Season 3, Madhav is defending a teenage boy who is accused of murdering his sister, a famous child actor.

Criminal Justice is produced by Applause Entertainment in association with BBC Studios India and is directed by Rohan Sippy, who previously helmed films such as Nautanki Saala!, Bluffmaster! and Dum Maaro Dum.

Criminal Justice: Adhura Sach will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from August 26.

Do Revenge

Netflix has released the official trailer of their upcoming dark comedy film Do Revenge, starring Stranger Things actress Maya Hawke and Riverdale’s Camila Mendes in lead roles.

Directed by Jennifer Kaytin Robinson, who has served as a writer for Thor: Love and Thunder, Do Revenge revolves around two teenage girls, Eleanor (Hawke) and Drea (Mendes), who join forces to get back at those who did them wrong. Do Revenge also stars Jonathan Daviss, Alisha Boe, Rish Shah, Maia Reficco, Paris Berelc, Ava Capri and Talia Ryder, with a special appearance by Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner.

The two-minute-38-second-long trailer reveals the reason behind their vengeful intentions. Drea wants to take revenge on a boy who broke her trust and leaked their sex tape, whereas Eleanor wants to take revenge on a girl who had started a damaging rumour about her.

Do Revenge will be streaming on Netflix from September 16.

Mo

Netflix has released the official trailer for their upcoming comedy-drama series, Mo, which is produced by A24 and created by stand-up-comedian Mohammed Amer and Ramy Youssef of Ramy fame. Amaer will play the titular character in the series.

The two-minute-long trailer gives us a glimpse of the funny political drama that follows the life of a fictionalised version of Amer, who grew up as a Palestinian refugee in Texas. The short trailer promises that Mo will be a series full of poignant commentary on race, identity, and life in America as an immigrant.

Apart from Amer, Mo stars Teresa Ruiz, Farah Bsieso, Omar Elba, and Tobe Nwigwe. Amer and Youssef will also work as writers and executive producers for the series. The director of the series will be Solvan Naim, who has previously helmed episodes for It’s Bruno and Snowfall.

Mo will arrive on Netflix on August 24.
