With more than 25 varieties of which five are eggless, take your pick from a range that includes everything from regular Chocolate to Green Tea Brownie! |
If you thought brownies only came in two varieties — chocolate and walnut — it’s time for a flavour shake-up. Slice of Heaven, which started as a small home-based brand of baked goodies, opened doors last week at 2 Roy Street (the lane beside World of Titan and opposite Bhawanipur Education Society College) with a selection of more than 25 different kinds of brownies!
The 12-seater eggetarian patisserie is plating up yummy brownies like Chocolate, Mocha Magic, Honey Walnut, Pistachio, Green Tea, Rum & Raisin and Orange Marmalade on rotation. “Of the 25 varieties of brownie we have here, five are eggless,” says owner Sweta Agarwal.
To balance out the sweetness, the menu also includes sandwiches like Bell Peppers and Pesto, Exotic Grilled Mix Vegetable and Panini. You could also pick Cheese & Onion Quiche, Corn & Cheese or Mix Vegetables Puff, muffins, croissants and doughnuts to go with a cup of coffee or tea. While some of the goodies are made of eggs, there are plenty of options for pure vegetarians.
“We did a lot of corporate programmes and exhibitions in various parts of the city and we got an overwhelming response. That’s how we planned to take it a step ahead and open this outlet,” says Sweta.
Open from 8am to 10pm, a meal for two at Slice of Heaven comes for about Rs 200.
