We joined a bunch of women at Bodega Cantina-Y-Bar on March 11 as the global cuisine restaurant at the Park Street-Camac Street junction celebrated a belated Women’s Day. The Saturday brunch had a specially curated menu with interesting options in cocktails as well as food. “The whole idea of hosting the Women’s Day brunch was to celebrate women from different walks of life and to make them feel special with a curated meal,” said Bodega co-owner Urvika Kanoi.

Pinky Kenworthy clicked a groupfie with Pooja Gupta and Sneha Ghosh. “Lovely relaxed ambience, wow food, innovative cocktails and desserts to die for, especially the Bodega Bomba! Great mix of women, loads of laughter and a very warm host, a perfect Women’s Day event,” smiled Pinky.

Rita Bhimani and Jyotee Khaitan raised a toast to Bodega. “An enjoyable culinary experience with the charming women of the city made the afternoon special,” said Jyotee.

Kiran Uttam Ghosh with Bodega co-owner Urvika Kanoi. The fashion designer “had heard a lot about Bodega from friends” but hadn’t had the chance to drop by. She liked what she saw and left with a promise to be back.
