Koushik Sen

I play Amaresh Raha, a bank manager. He is one of the most interesting characters in the film. I cannot reveal anything beyond this.

Chandan Sen

I play Umanath, a snobbish district magistrate who dislikes Bomkesh. Umanath is taken hostage by the murderer, then he starts believing in Bomkesh.

Biswajit Chakraborty

I play Mahidhar Chowdhury, Rajani’s father and owner of a tea estate. The photograph goes missing from his house and he hires Bomkesh to solve the mystery.

Arindol Bagchi

I have a very small but significant role. I play Nakuleshwar, the photographer. Nakuleshwar had clicked the photograph that gets stolen and he is one of the suspects.

Pijush Ganguly

I play professor Som. He belongs to a poor family but goes abroad for higher education with his father-in-law’s money. He is very scared of his wife and lives in his father-in-law’s house. He is attracted to Rajani. Neel Mukherjee

Neel Mukherjee

I play Ashwini Ghatak, a doctor who looks after Bomkesh when he comes to the hills to recuperate. The two strike up a friendship. Ashwini is in love with Rajani and obviously wants to hide it from everyone. But Bomkesh comes to know about it.

Debranjan Nag

I play Falguni Pal, the artist. He lives in the backyard of Mahidhar Chowdhury’s house. He lands up at one of the parties and gifts him a photograph which is a sketch of his face. Ajit (Saswata Chatterjee) and Purandar (Kunal) notices him there. But suddenly, he is murdered.

Sudipa Basu

I play professor Som’s jealous wife Malati. Malati is ailing and suspects that her husband is getting drawn to Rajani (Swastika ). She is jealous of Satyabati (Ushasie) too. Malati is a shallow woman. I had great fun playing Malati because I have never played a small-minded, rude woman.

Swastika Mukherjee

I play Rajani, the widow. She is in a relationship with Ashwini Ghatak, the doctor. Rajani is a very modern woman and wears western outfits as she has grown up in the hills, in a tea estate. Though it’s a cameo, I agreed because I love working with Anjanda and his team. It’s always special, besides it’s great to be associated with the Bomkesh Bakshi films!

Bomkesh’s aide

Kunal Padhy

I play Purandar Pandey, a cop. Anjanda (Dutt) told me that the character is there in other stories too. Purandar assists Bomkesh in solving the crime and gives him all logistical support.
