Where: Raize The Bar, Sector V, Salt Lake
When: Monday to Saturday
Timings: 12.30pm to 3pm
Meal for one: Rs 499-plus

Just weeks after the launch of their microbrewery, Raize The Bar in Salt Lake Sector V has taken the munch scene a notch higher with the Lunch Buffet Splash, in association with t2. The best part of this all-you-can-eat buffet? Drink as much craft beer/mocktail/soft drink as you can at Rs 499 (plus GST).

Soups, starters, salads, main course with Chinese, Indian and Continental varieties, along with three different types of dessert make up the fare.

“Our aim is to target the corporate crowd in the Sector V area looking for a quick lunch, that is also value for money. The menu will change every day and it is our endeavour to keep experimenting with different dishes on the buffet,” said Manish Kumar, general manager, Raize The Bar. The offerings will vary each day.

t2 hopped in as the buffet began, and here’s what kept our tummy happy.

Kadhai Murgh: A little on the spicier side, the Kadhai Murgh, with chicken on the bone in a flavourful brown gravy, pairs well with steamed rice as well as Indian breads. The Oriental main course option, Cantonese Chicken, is also a must-try.
Kachche Gosht Ki Dum Biryani: Served on the buffet in a handi, the Kachche Gosht Ki Dum Biryani is all about tender and succulent pieces of mutton on a bed of aromatic rice, garnished with sliced browned onions. Paired with the raita, this one is quite filling.
Dahi Vada: The chaat counter has a clear winner, the Dahi Vada. We couldn’t stop at just one. That apart, the Thai Noodles Salad, Chicken Hawaiian Salad and Pesto Marinated Squid Salad make for great variation.
Vegetarian Au Gratin: The creamy vegetarian Au Gratin is a good option for those who love Continental food. Other vegetarian main course options are Ginger Pepper Noodles and Wok Tossed Asian Greens.
Kiwi Mousse: Fresh and fruity, the Kiwi Mousse with its light flavour is just right after a heavy meal. Other options include Ras Malai and Kesar Pista ice cream.
