This year wasn’t good for fashion. Though the market is picking up now, the fashion industry will take some time to find its balance. Meanwhile, one trend seems to be growing and may continue even as things improve generally.

Old clothes are back in fashion with a bang. Upcycling is trending. According to http://www.vogue.com, Lyst’s annual ‘Year in Fashion’ report, which looks at the most popular brands, products, people, and movements of the past 12 months, confirmed a rising interest in used clothes in the US. “Brides planning socially-distanced weddings were even looking for “vintage,” “secondhand,” or “pre-owned” wedding dresses, with searches spiking 38%,” says the article.
