The State Bank of India (SBI) launched a coffee table book, titled The Banker to Every Indian, on March 27. The book commemorates the 200-year history of SBI and celebrates 75 years of Indian Independence. It goes back to the Independence-era spirit of India and the bank’s role in the country’s development by showing its values, technological accomplishments, and transformation. The book, according to Dinesh Khara, chairman of SBI, “is a celebration of our past and a tribute to our dedication to the future, inspiring the next generation to strive for greatness and contribute to the prosperity of our colossal nation”.

In terms of assets, deposits, branches, clients, and personnel, the State Bank of India is the biggest commercial bank in India. With 22,381 branches, 65,650 ATMs/ADWMs, and 70,258 BC outlets, SBI has India’s largest branch network. In Q3 FY ’23, there were more than one crore daily average logins to YONO, which has more than 5.75 crore registered users.
