The resident DJ of Shisha Bar Stock Exchange, DJ Bhavesh, made way for Raj Barman, a city-based singer who strummed the guitar to Sooraj dooba hain and instantly got the crowd cheering, on July 13. The guest artiste made 15 Years Of Shisha in association with t2 a lit one, as he sang old and new Bollywood hits like Ae dil hai mushkil, Aadat and Teri meri kahani. If songs like Pehla nasha and Kabhi kabhi got the revellers singing along, Channa mereya and Kabira got them shimmying. The loudest cheers came when he belted out Tip tip barsa pani to match the monsoon mood.

We spotted Seenorita Patra multitasking as she sang along and recorded the gig on her phone!

Dressed in denim dungarees and a black top, Alisha Imran could not stop herself from matching steps to Tip tip barsa pani. “I danced a lot. I opted for dungarees and white kicks because it’s stylish yet comfortable, which is very important when I am dancing,” said the college student.

It was the first live gig experience for Bidhi Jaiswal. “I’m more into DJ nights and commercial international music. So that night was a little different for me. I had fun and danced a bit as well,” said the model, rocking a white romper.

Yellow and black striped top, black pants and ballerinas summed up Neelima’s OOTN. “My dressing up depends on my mood and the ambience. I thought it was apporpriate for the live band scene in Shisha BSE which I loved a lot,” said Neelima who partied with her cabin crew buddy Vipin Chaugani. Their song of the night? Pehla nasha.

Talk about sisters keeping their A-game strong, we spotted Juthika Gautam (right) and Trishita stepping out in style. If Juthika matched the checks in her shoes with her top, Trishita rocked sheer on her purse and top! “The music was great, especially when Raj Barman was singing the old hits. It made me nostalgic,” said Juthika, a student of Amity University.
