Paris Cafe, the dessert den with outlets in Ballygunge, Alipore and Sector V, has rolled out a new menu comprising pretty nibbles, the highlight being the “cocktail” desserts.
“I included these items as I wanted to do something fruity but different. And I really like the flavour combinations of all these desserts. People who don’t have alcohol can also go for them as we make mocktail versions of these too. All of them have different textures and layers, which seemed exciting to me,” said Sneha Singhi, owner of Paris Cafe.
Vanilla Blueberry Eclair is a fine classic eclair with mildly sweet vanilla mousse and fresh blueberries that lend a slight tangy taste. Enjoy this yum dessert with a warm cup of Darjeeling tea. Rs 130
If you are a fan of mojito, you cannot miss this Mojito dessert that looks like toffees. Just like the drink, this one is refreshingly lemony and mint-y, thanks to the mint sponge, rum lemon mint and brown sugar cremeux with lemon mousse. Rs 140
As pretty as it looks, Equis is a soft dessert filled with a raspberry-and-strawberry gel. It also has raspberry-rose and vanilla and lime-and-lemon cream layers that provide a subtle sweet and lemony flavour. It is served with macarons for “a little flavour of rose and almond and also for the texture”. Rs 130
How many times have you stopped yourself from having a dessert because it is not healthy? Here some gluten-, sugar- and dairy-free Vegan Chocolate Nutella Tarts for the health-conscious. The base cup is made of cocoa nibs and almonds and the dessert is made with 70 per cent dark chocolate. A treat for bitter chocolate lovers. Rs 130
The new menu has found space for cocktail desserts. We heart the super pretty Pina Colada, made of coconut-lime sponge, pina colada cremeux, coconut mousse and overnight-cooked confit pineapple. This one is totally Instagram-worthy! Rs 140
