There are two factors that always figure when it comes to my holidays. The place should either have hills or it should have the sea. Now when it comes to the hills, no place fits the bill better than Kathmandu. It’s one of my favourite holiday spots as I feel, it’s the next best thing to the Alps. I’ve been there many times on work, but I take my family along too ? so it becomes a working vacation of sorts.

There’s so much to do in Kathmandu ? trekking, mountaineering and more. We even visited Pokhara which is amazing. There, we stayed at the Phulbari Resort, which is built on a cliff. So the view is simply amazing! All in all, Nepal is at the top of my trip list!
