It feels good to complete a successful century. A hundred shows in a hundred cities, culminated with the top six students competing at the National Final, held recently, in Calcutta. The contest, Kaho What’s Your idea, was an inter-school skill fest, where students competed in rounds on logic skills, speaking well, memory, life skills and reaction skills. Interestingly, apart from Mumbai and Delhi, the other teams to make it to the finals were from smaller cities: Vijayawada, Patiala, Panaji and Tirunelveli. Students from these small cities competing at the national level against ‘metro kids’ and matching them stroke for stroke is a sign of what to watch out for in the future.
