Raize The Bar that already has five craft beers — Belgian Moon, English Beard, German Fog, American Lager and Surprise Tap — on its menu, has added one more to its list. Just in time for the mango season, the Salt Lake pub has introduced a fruity flavour called the Mango Ale. 

If you stay away from beer because of its bitterness, then this will come as a pleasant surprise. With mild to moderate bitter notes, the alcohol percentage of Mango Ale varies from 4 per cent to 5 per cent and has a certain amount of fizz to it. It is priced at Rs 200 for 250ml and Rs 340 for 500ml.

“It was our dream to give Calcutta a variety of freshly brewed beers with good food and ambience. And with Mango Ale as our sixth variant, it’s time to raise the bar quite literally,” said Shailesh Ganeriwala, owner and director, Raize The Bar.
