Get set for Jazzfest

Austrian quintet Worry Later set the mood for Jazzfest 2017

Vienna-based jazz band Worry Later showed off some killer chops, walking bass lines and swing for the curtain-raiser concert of Jazzfest (to be held in association with t2) at The Astor on November 26. 

They played tracks like All your life, Longing, Song, Nostalgia, Minor Hit and the title track from their album Humpty Bump.

If you have missed them, worry not! The 2017 edition of Jazzfest kicks off at Dalhousie Institute on December 8 and goes on till December 10 with artistes from eight countries.

This year’s Jazzfest promises to be diverse and exciting with the return of Erik Truffaz and Kefaya, a special electric set by Amyt Datta with a live video show by award-winning German graphic novelist Reinhard Kleist, a line-up of bands from The Netherlands, Switzerland, France and Luxembourg and a grand finale by Kraut-electronic-jazz band from Germany, C.A.R.  –– Varun Desai of Littlei, the organiser of Jazzfest 2017
