From refreshing summer coolers to traditional Bengali desserts, the menu had guests and their pets digging in at the 50-seater cafe. “The bhoj set the Nava Varsha tone for the guests and their pets with food and drinks and a lot of fun,” said Monalisa De, director of the cafe.

It was a happy day for actress Koneenica Banerjee’s pet Boxer (right), as he celebrated his birthday at The Green House on April 15. At the dog room of the cafe, Boxer got a friend in Brandy (left), the pet bulldog of the cafe’s co-owner Anirban Das Gupta. Don’t miss Boxer’s b’day cake — Chicken Dog Cake (picture below).

Caramel Patisapta, a pithe filled with coconut shavings and topped with caramel and chocolate, was a hit with the guests.
A chilled glass of Gondhoraj Mojito was the day’s favourite sip.
