Think water, sand, calming music and lots of seafood. While that conjures images of a beach, here we are talking about a restaurant with the same vibes in the south of the city!

Sea-estta Inn, a beach-themed eatery serving seafood and Oriental cuisine, has opened near Rabindra Sarobar metro station. “I wanted to do something unique. Even though the space isn’t big, I have tried to give it a beach feel, where you can relax and eat good food,” said Utsab Roy Chowdhury, the owner, who also runs an HR training academy.

Pan-fried Chilli Fish: Our favourite among the dishes we tried, this is spicy and has ingredients like capsicum, ginger and malt vinegar. The well-cooked fish along with the texture provided by the veggies, makes this the winner. Rs 210
Grilled Lobster In Butter Garlic Sauce: The lobster swims in a thick sauce that smells of butter and garlic. Rs 720

Whole Crab in Schezwan Style: This dish with a whole fried crab is on the spicier side with the Schezwan sauce and black pepper turning up the heat. Rs 330
Deep Blue Sea: A soothing hue with blue curacao and a lemony fizz that comes from lemon juice, Sprite and rock salt. #BeachVibes. Rs 100
