We love snacking, and we love it better when we can play board games with our friends while snacking. That’s what the city’s latest cafe, called Snacking, has in mind.

“We wanted a calm and quaint cafe where people of every age can come in. We don’t serve alcohol or shisha since we wanted to stick to a ‘cafe’ concept only,” said Pratik Didwania, co-owner, Snacking.

What: Snacking

Where: 188/60/2 Prince Anwar Shah Road (next to the Lord’s crossing)

Timings: 11am-10pm

Meal for two: Rs 500-plus

Though the walls are in shades of grey, the ceiling of this 1,700 sqft cafe makes up for the lack of colours with faux leaves and branches, and lights hanging from them. The touch of green makes it soothing to the eye.
The 65-seater cafe is divided into five zones — a carom room, a smoking zone, a zone for board games, a live screening zone and a reading room (in picture) — each with a different look and feel. The reading room is minimalistic with some catchy words clipped to the iron frame on the wall, a tripod and books. The brown, white and black colour palette of the furniture against the grey walls gives the space a contemporary look.
We loved this corner with four elements — a comfy swing chair, dim lights, a window and cool slogans on the wall.
Done up in green with pretty lights, the smoking zone has low seating arrangement with foldable tables and a swing.
