Maruti Suzuki True Value reaches milestone of selling 4 million pre-owned cars

Maruti Suzuki India’s used car business — Maruti Suzuki True Value — reached the milestone of selling 4 million pre-owned cars since its inception in 2001.

Maruti had started the used car vertical to ensure quality, reliability and hassle-free pre-owned car purchase and selling experience. It set up a network of 550 independent True Value outlets across 268 cities and offered both online and offline services.

Shashank Srivastava, executive director (marketing & sales), Maruti Suzuki India Limited, said, “The pre-owned car market in India is highly unorganised and there are a very few players providing safe, reliable and transparent buying and selling experience to buyers. True Value was set up to overcome these issues and ensure that buyers of pre-owned cars get the same experience as new car buyers. These outlets are digitally integrated through website and app so that customers can access details of all the cars available at True Value outlets from the comfort of their homes.”

With 376 checks, quality evaluation, refurbishment and certification process, True Value Certified cars are offered with up to one-year warranty and three free services.
