Accel Frontline issue

Accel Frontline Ltd, an IT services major, will enter the capital market with its initial public offering (IPO) on September 28 comprising 5,635,950 equity shares of Rs 10 each through 100 per cent book-building. The shares will be in the price band of Rs 75 to Rs 90. The issue will constitute 25.04 per cent of the fully diluted post-issue paid-up capital of the company, the company said in a press release.

Customs move

Calcutta Customs (sea and air) has launched the risk management system (RMS) and an accredited clients programme (ACP). The programme is a component of the business process re-engineering initiatives of the Central Board of Excise and Customs involving use of information technology to improve internal efficiencies and service standards.

Airtel offer

Airtel has introduced an offer that lets customers enjoy local tariffs when travelling in Bengal and Sikkim. Under the benefit, lifetime pre-paid customers of Calcutta will be able to make local calls at 30 paise per minute from Airtel to Airtel, 60 paise per minute to other numbers and Re 1 per minute on national STD calls.

R-Com

Reliance Communications (R-Com) has launched an offer for the festive seasons, under which it offers free talk-time worth Rs 2,000 to new Reliance mobile pre-paid connections in Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand. The offer comes with Nokia 1255, LG black and white, Spectra and UT starcom Smarty handsets.

Jawad plans

The Jawad Business Group will be the franchisee for The Great Kabab Factory in the Gulf. The group has entered into an agreement with AB Hotels and RWH Hotel Management Services in this regard

Royal Orchid

The Royal Orchid group has entered into a joint venture with the Karnataka government’s Jungle Lodges and Resorts Ltd to manage the Krishna Raja Sagar Hotel. The hotel has been renamed as Royal Orchid Brindavan.

Srei award

Srei Insurance Services Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Srei Infrastructure Finance Ltd, has been awarded the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 certificate by TUV Cert, the certification body of TUV Nord Cert GmbH.

Nalco feat

National Aluminium Company Ltd (Nalco) has received the top export award of CAPEXIL for 2005-2006.

JBIC pact

Japan Bank for International Cooperation (JBIC) governor, Kyosuke Shinozawa has signed an agreement to se up an export credit line totaling Rs 325 crore with State Bank of India (SBI).
