If you love the wilderness, this one’s for you. The Aman Resorts property, Aman-i-Khas, a tented camp on the fringes of the Ranthambore National Park, has come up with what it calls an Indian Resident Offer. This one has been designed specifically keeping domestic travellers, who are Indian residents, in mind. Here’s what you get: a luxury tent for two nights at Rs 57,500 (all taxes included) as long as you are carrying proof of the fact that you are a resident of India. The package includes accommodation for two, three meals everyday per person, unlimited beverages (excluding wines and spirits), an excursion into the park per person per stay and daily yoga classes. My favourite holiday destination would have to be London. It is a beautiful place and I simply love the weather — it’s a welcome relief from the heat in India. Besides, you come across so many Indians in London that it’s tough not to feel comfortable and at home. Also, since there is no dearth of Indian restaurants in the city, food is never an issue with me. All this and, of course, amazing shopping places make London my favourite holiday spot.
