New Delhi, April 24: Unitech Wireless chairman Sanjay Chandra, arrested by the CBI in the 2G spectrum scam, has asked the telecom firm’s board to appoint an alternate director as an interim arrangement. “We would like to clarify that Sanjay Chandra has not resigned. However, in light of the recent developments in the investigations, he has requested the Uninor (Unitech Wireless) board to appoint an alternate director for dealing with company affairs in the near term,” real estate company Unitech has said.
