Ticket rush to ferry cadres for RJD rally

The RJD has booked tickets on 13 trains from different locations of the state to bring supporters for its Parivartan Yatra to be held on May 15 in Patna.

The opposition party has also formed 17 sub-committees to take care of issues like transport, enquiry, electricity and water during the much-anticipated rally.

Addressing reporters at the party office, the national spokesperson and convener of Parivartan Yatra Preparation Committee, Ilyas Hussain, said: “There is great enthusiasm among people for the upcoming Parivartan Yatra. We are expecting around 15 lakh supporters that day. For the convenience of supporters, we have booked tickets for 13 trains departing from different districts.”

The trains will depart from important stations like Kishanganj, Bagaha, Raxaul, Sitamarhi, Jainagar, Saharsa and Bhagalpur. Hussain added: “We have formed 17 sub-committees that would take care of the entire rally. The important sub-committees include transport, electricity, enquiry, light and sound, health, stage, barricading of Gandhi Maidan. For every important work, there is a dedicated team of more than four members in each sub-committee.”
