Patna, Dec. 17: Spirituality sells, especially if it has a Osho tag on it. A large numbers to book lovers are buying books written by spiritual leader Osho at the Patna Book Fair.
According to the cashier at the stall selling Osho books, 80 per cent of the stock has been sold and four more days are left for the fair to end.
Other books on spirituality are also there but only Osho books are finding huge number of buyers.
Narendra Kumar, who has come from Rajendra Nagar to buy books on Osho, said: “I love reading his books. It’s not just about spirituality. The logic he presents is convincing and inspiring. I am reading books since my college days. Today I am 45 years old but I still find his books as fresh as always. You will never get bored while reading his books. The books are so clearly written that they clear your thoughts. In fact, I advise my children to read Osho books.”
Another customer, Shaileshwar from Kankerbagh, said: “I find immense peace while reading Osho books. How does he manage to convince readers to follow certain rules in life? His books on love, mediation and yoga are the ones I like the most.”
Another Osho book lover Rajesh Kumar said: “This will be the second book I will read after Intuition. His book has made me think who I am. It has helped me more than any self-help or philosophy book. It provides so much insight into the world and its mysteries. I want to read his other books too.”
“I think many of his ideas are liberating as he has a lot of thoughts on human heart. I don’t like his ideas on politics though they are important. Earlier, I used to read Khalil Gibran but right now I have moved to Osho,” said Veena Dutt, a resident of SK Puri.
