Several injured after smoke bomb attack at Taipei subway station: Taiwan premier

Taiwan ‌Premier Cho Jung-tai said several people ‍had been injured after a person released ⁠smoke bombs ​at ​a ‍Taipei subway station ⁠and then attacked bystanders, ​according to comments Cho made on ‌his Facebook page on Friday.

Cho did ​not give further details.

The attacker was suspected to have ⁠then killed himself, the official Central ​News Agency said.

It was ‍not immediately clear what the motive was.
