Feb. 3: Rose Valley boss Gautam Kundu's wife Subhra was summoned to the Enforcement Directorate's Salt Lake office this evening and interrogated till late in the night.
Subhra was asked to explain her association with Manoj Kumar, the ED officer under fire for his suspected links with her.

A source in the ED said Subhra, who has acted in Bengali movies, was questioned about her links with a chartered accountant's firm in Mangoe Lane where she had apparently parked Rose Valley's unaccounted for money.
Kumar had introduced her to the chartered accountant.
"The CCTV footage from the Delhi hotel that shows Subhra and Kumar together was shown to her. She admitted she had gone there with Kumar but we don't believe the reason she gave," an ED officer said.
An ED team, led by an officer of special director rank, started questioning Subhra around 5pm. She was shown the air ticket, evidence that she had travelled to Delhi with Kumar.
Kumar, too, was summoned by the ED. But he and Subhra were not brought face to face. Their statements were recorded separately, the officer said.
The ED team went through the files prepared by Kumar during the investigation. "We got to know she hadn't been interrogated even once in connection with the Rose Valley case. Since Kundu is accused of defaulting people of over Rs 10,000 crore, we find it unusual that Kumar decided not to interrogate Subhra," an ED officer said. "We are trying to find out if Kumar suppressed facts in exchange of financial benefits."
The officer said Kumar's bank accounts would be examined shortly.
Kumar did not turn up at Lalbazar today. He sent a letter to the cops that he could not visit Lalbazar as he was facing departmental inquiry. Vishal Garg, joint commissioner, special task force, said Kumar would be issued another notice asking him to visit Lalbazar.
