Chhota Bheem (right) and Jaggu are set to make a Dholakpur of City Centre Salt Lake |
What: Horlicks presents Telekids Chhota Bheem Carnival, in association with City Centre.
Where: City Centre, Salt Lake.
When: November 16 and 17, 11am onwards.
What to expect: The little big boy of Dholakpur has jumped out of the screen and made his way to City Centre Salt Lake to boogie with Calcutta’s young and young-at-heart. With him are his friends Chutki, Raju and Jaggu, the talking monkey. It’ll be a grand mela in the Kund area of the mall, with a variety of games, activities and tattoo stalls.
There will also be a special stall set up by Tuntun Mausi to sell her famous laddoos. So, if you run out of breath playing games like “Pin the tail on Jaggu”, “Dholakpur ka Archer”, “Bheem’s bucket” and “Feed Kalia”, just run to Tuntun Mausi for your fill of the magical sweet that gives Chhota Bheem his strength back instantly. And judging from last year’s phenomenal response, Chhota Bheem’s fandom is not just restricted to the kiddies. College students to young parents to grannies, everyone had a ball with the boy hero and his gang!
So remember to take lots of pictures with your favourite toon hero and have a power-packed weekend.
Special attraction: Take home a bit of Bheem. Pick up Bheem merchandise — pillow cover, T-shirt, tiffin box, school bag, mug and more.
Fan speak: “My son is super-excited about the Chhota Bheem Carnival, so we are sure to visit Dholakpur (aka City Centre) this year too. As a parent I would like to thank Telekids for organising this carnival every year where many kids’ dream of meeting Chhota Bheem comes true,” smiled DJ Akash, father to three-year-old Bheem bhakt Kabir.
