Calcutta: Sachin Tendulkar went up a spot to tied 10th while Virender Sehwag also rose a spot to 19th among the batsmen in the latest ODI rankings released by the International Cricket Council Sunday.
India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni remained second while Yuvraj Singh was stuck at seventh in the latest list.
West Indies captain Chris Gayle still tops the batsmen’s list.
The list of top five batsmen also includes Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik and South Africa’s Jacques Kallis as joint fourth.
Among the Indian bowlers, Zaheer Khan dropped to tied 11th but remained the only Indian in the top 20.
Sri Lanka’s Nuwan Kulasekara raced up the rankings for ODI bowlers to the second position with yet another good performance in his side’s series win in Pakistan.
In the team rankings, Pakistan have slipped one place to fifth following their 1-2 home series defeat to Sri Lanka. .
