Lodha committee

The star-studded Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals were suspended from the IPL by the Supreme Court-appointed committee, headed by Justice Lodha. The panel also banned for life Gurunath Meiyappan, a former team principal of the Super Kings, and Raj Kundra, a former co-owner of Rajasthan Royals, from cricket. Shocked by the order, the Super Kings are planning to move the apex court. The IPL governing council is expected to meet on July 19/20
