Dav meeting
The Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) will have a meeting on Saturday to discuss the future course of action with regards to Dav Whatmore, the director for the development of junior cricket in Bengal.
The meeting, which was scheduled on Thursday, was postponed due to unknown reasons. Whatmore had resigned as the head coach of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
Shabbir coach
Southern Samity have roped in Shabbir Ali to coach their side in the Calcutta Football League Premier Division.
Shabbir is likely to take charge of the team later on Thursday after an official press conference.
