Odisha FC were a revelation last season, finshing in the top-six in ISL IX and winning the Super Cup which saw them earn a berth in the AFC Cup.

Under the guidance of newly appointed coach Sergio Lobera, the team hopes to make significant strides this season. Just days before the 10th season of ISL starts, the Spanish coach shared their thoughts during the ISL Media Day on Wednesday.

“I have some players who worked with me for many years. It’s good to have familiar faces. It’s always better to work with people you have worked with before, it takes less time to adjust,” Lobera said.

The Spaniard, who did wonders with Mumbai City and FC Goa during his previous stints, said this ISL would be the toughest of them all.

“It will be very competitive and the toughest. All teams are capable of winning the trophy,” Lobera said.
