Calcutta: Under-17 forward Sutang Marlanki and midfielder Rocus Lamare have been included in the Indian squad for the final round of the Asian Under-20 Championship to be played in Qatar next month.
Marlanki and Lamare stood out in the recent Asian Under-17 Championship in Abu Dhabi, where India lost to eventual champions South Korea in the quarter finals.
Goalkeeper Satish Kumar was named captain of the 20-member squad announced Friday. Satish had led the team in the qualifiers as well.
The squad leaves for Uzbekistan on October 1 to play two warm-up matches before reaching Qatar. India play Bangladesh on October 16, Japan on October 19 and Saudi Arabia on October 22.
