Calcutta: About 150 will take part in this year’s 12 km road race for men and women, organised by Sabeda Bagan Club on February 2. The race, sponsored by Behala’s Bidya Bhaban High School, has a total prize money of Rs. 20,000. Leading runners like Amed Raza, Bimal Mahato, Rina Debnath and Pampa Chanda will participate.
Sub-jr cricket
Sonarpur Sports Academy won the 18th sub-junior cricket tournament held at the Naihati Railway Institute ground last Saturday. In the final, they beat Sinthi Roy Para CCC.
