Nagaon, June 27: Karbi Students’ Association and Hebron Club entered the super league of the Greater Diphu Sports Association Football League, crushing Hidi Sajir 5-0 and Mount Club 7-2 respectively in the group league matches at Karbi Anglong Sports Association playground in Diphu today.

In the first match, Karbi Students’ Association midfielder Khogen Timung scored three goals in the fifth, 14th and 37th minutes of the match. Striker Bidya Rangfar and Chandra Rangpi scored two goals for KSA in the 21st and 42nd minutes.

In the second match, Hebron Club captain James Varte scored four goals in the second, fourth, 28th and 49th minutes of the match.

Striker Sigmpo scored the fifth goal in the 50th minute of the match. Lalsan Lien and Jomin Sang scored the last two goals in the 51st and 52nd minutes of the match.

The first goal for Mount Club was scored by Taron Ranghang in the 15th minute.

Two minutes later, striker James Ranghang scored the second goal.
