Dibrugarh, Dec. 16: Makum United edged past Moran Town Club today after scoring 5-4 via tiebreakers in a league match of the fourth Swargadeo Sarbananda Singh Invitation Prize-money Football Championship, organised by All Assam Muttock Yuba Chatra Sanmilan Central Committee, at Janamukh Rajiv Gandhi Sports Stadium in Tinsukia.

Regulation time ended in a goalless draw. For Makum United, Ratan Singh, Robert Gangte, James Eaity, Giron Singh and Jyotish Tai converted the spot kicks. Bitankar Singh, Anand Prakash Ekka, Sunil Rai and Chandan Khaiir scored goals for Moran.

Tinsukia Town Club will take on home side Janamukh Football Club tomorrow.
