Imphal: Aphuna Golmei, the widow of sepoy Robart Golmei, who was charred to death in a militant attack recently, on Sunday demanded a government job to support her two children. Golmei, who was posted at a Siliguri cantonment, died along with his mother-in-law Ginthailu Gangmei when militants of the Kuki Liberation Army set on fire a bus bound for Guwahati in Karbi Anglong on October 23 night. Aphuna delivered a son nearly a month ago and came back to Manipur on Sunday. Her eldest daughter Maryna is three years old.
