Volunteers at the main gate of the venue for the 56th Bodo Sahitya Sabha at Simen Chapori in Dhemaji on Saturday.

Nearly 6,000 delegates, observers and well-wishers are expected from all over the Northeast, as well as from Delhi and Bengal. Delegates are also expected from Bangladesh, Nepal and Bhutan.This year the Sabha campus has been declared a plastic-free zone and nearly 200 stalls for books and traditional attire of different tribes have been constructed.
