The mask mandate continues to be flouted in Kolkata

A man on Rashbehari Avenue had his mask resting on his chin. “I just got down from the car,” he said.

A man walking along Southern Avenue had pulled down his mask. “It is difficult to walk with a mask on,” he said.

Two girls without masks were walking along Lee Road. “We forgot to wear masks. Actually we are going to a nearby place,” said one of them.

A cyclist on Southern Avenue without a mask said: “Is it possible to ride a bicycle with a mask on?”

A man without a mask was standing in front of a shop on AJC Bose Road. “I am waiting for a bus,” he said.

Driving a two-wheeler through a busy Syed Amir Ali Avenue, the man was without a mask. “How would a mask help,” he asked.
