Mumbai, Oct. 27 (PTI): Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Devdas has been selected as the official entry in the best foreign film category at the Oscar Awards.

Peter Martis, who is handling the publicity of the film, today announced the selection starring Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit.

Bhansali said: “I am absolutely ecstatic.… After all, this is the first step towards the prestigious award. I am elated that the film federation considered my film worthy enough to represent India.”
