Jamshedpur, Jan. 21: The Union ministry of tribal affairs has expressed satisfaction over the utilisation of funds allocated to the state for welfare of tribals during the last four years.

Joint secretary to ministry of tribal affairs, S. Chatterjee told this to a gathering at the 54th Trishul Utsav on the premises of Bharat Sevashram Sangha in Sonari.

Chief minister Arjun Munda was also present at the function.

Chatterjee said the funds allocated to the state for projects related to tribal education, health and income generation during the last four years of the state?s formation have been utilised properly.

He said the ministry of tribal affairs will also provide funds to set up a tribal museum at the Tribal Research Institute.
