Jamshedpur, Nov. 23: Beldih Church, RVS Academy, DAV Public School (Bistupur) and St Mary?s English School won the respective matches in the ongoing Jamshedpur Old Girls and Guys Association (Jogga) inter-school handball tournament at Gopal Maidan.

In the matches held today, Beldih Church posted wins in the junior and senior girls? category, RVS Academy, while St Mary?s English School and DAV (Bistupur) posted victories in the junior boys? section.

Beldih Church displayed top form in drubbing Carmel Junior College 7-0 in the junior girls? tie.

Paramita was the top scorer for the winning outfit.

Later, Beldih Church steamrolled a hapless Vidya Jyoti School 19-1 in the senior girls? category match, with Soni coming out as the top scorer.

She was well supported by Khushboo, who had four goals to boast.

The school also defeated River View English School 9-0 in the junior boys? encounter.

In other matches of the junior boys? section, RVS Academy beat ADL Sunshine 5-0, DAV overcame Balwin Kadma Farm Area School 7-3 and St Mary?s put it across Carmel 12-6.

Thirteen Jogga-affiliated schools are participating in the tournament organised by River View English School.
