Jamshedpur, July 24: After maintaining silence for almost two days on the clash on the court premises in Giridih last Saturday, the eldest son of Bhalotia family alleged today that Dr Deepak Bagaria had tried to implicate the Bhalotia family in a false case.
?Around 12 of us went to Giridih to receive bail orders and take further hearing date. It is foolish to imagine that we would have taken on a larger group of 40 people there,? said Krishna Bhalotia, the eldest son of the family.
The defendant, Nitish Bhalotia, the third son of the Bhalotia family, had been granted bail by High Court in a dowry harassment case. Nitish denied allegations of extramarital affair and harassment levelled on him by the complainant, Pallavi Bhalotia.
The case, pending for the past one year, started after Pallavi allegedly deserted her husband while the couple was in Bangalore on a holiday. Krishna had said that Pallavi was found in a Delhi hotel room with her boyfriend.
?The video clippings recorded on mobile not only speak of her involvement with a boy, but also stand testimony that she was physically fit, contrary to her claims of being abused,? said Krishna.
The Bhalotia family presented statements issued by Pallavi that she had gone to Delhi willingly after some differences cropped up between the couple.
The statement, undersigned by Pallavi, states that she had requested her cousin to check in the Delhi hotel. The boy had confessed that he was not her brother.
?Dr Deepak Bagaria tried to implicate my brother in some false case so that his daughter could be taken back by our family on his terms,? he added.
The Bhalotias insist they had included the Jharkhand Marwari association to settle matters with the Bagaria family.
It is the latter who refused to talk and revealed a family matter to the media, forcing the Bhalotia family to issue statements in the Press, Krishna added.
