Jamshdepur, Aug. 23: State building construction minister Raghuvar Das and department secretary B.K. Tiwary inspected the new collectorate building adjacent to the Sakchi civil court this morning.

The building, which houses the offices of the deputy commissioner, the deputy development commissioner, district welfare officer and several other government department offices would be made a double storeyed building to accommodate several other offices including the district transport office.

At present, the district transport office operates from a building adjacent to the new collectorate building.
