24 eves make it to U-23 camp

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has shortlisted 24 women players for the U-23 training camp to be conducted in Jamshedpur from Tuesday.

Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has shortlisted 24 women players for the U-23 training camp to be conducted in Jamshedpur from Tuesday.

The players who were picked on Sunday are Priyanka Sawaiyan, Shivani Kandeyang, Ruma Kumari Mahto, Ashwani Kumari, Monika Murmu, Abhisarika Srivastava, Ginni Geeta Kujur, Roshni Kannojia, Rashmi Gudia, Ritu Kumari, Sonia Kumari, Priya Kumari, Preeti Priya, Pinky Tirkey, Devyani Prasad, Mamta Paswan, Anamika Kumari, Durga Kumari Murmu, Shanti Kumari, Priyanka Chauhan, Anjali Das, Ragini Kumari Bharti, Jaya Kumari and Ishrani Soren.

The state cricket outfit will later select a 15-member squad for BCCI's Under-23 one-day tournament to be held in Odisha from February 8 to 14. "We intend to stitch out a strong outfit for the upcoming tournament. The players will be picked on the basis of their performance at the training camp," said JSCA assistant secretary Aseem Kumar Singh.

Jharkhand will launch their campaign versus Assam on February 8.
