Odisha on Monday heaved a sigh of relief as the impact of Cyclone Gulab was minimal in the state.

While no casualties have been reported from any part of the state so far, district collectors have been asked to submit the report on the damage caused to property and crops within five days.

Sources said, the damage should be much less compared to past cyclones such as Fani.

Gulab has now weakened into a deep depression. The Met department has warned of heavy rainfall in the next 24 hours in some of the districts of southern Odisha.
