New Delhi, March 20 (PTI): The Supreme Court has issued a notice to cricketer Anil Kumble’s wife Chethana Ramatheertha on a petition by her former husband, Kumar V. Jagirdar, challenging a Karnataka High Court order that gave her sole custody of their daughter.

She has been asked to file her reply within four weeks.

A local court appointed both Chethna and Kumar as joint guardians following their divorce by mutual consent in April 1999. Chethana married Kumble in July the same year and then went to court seeking permanent custody of the child, which she got.
