When it is the world’s mightiest cosplay party, the (Marvel and DC) universe’s greatest superheroes just have to be at play. While the deck was protected by the “friendly neighbourhood” web-slinger (extreme right), Iron Man, Captain America (right), The Hulk, Superman and more crowded the bar. The mighty Thor crashed the party (left) and left Mjolnir as evidence. No wonder the Superhero zone was the most popular.

A retro camera in one corner, a James Bond cut-out in the other, the LED screen showing film clippings, dialogue placards, large portraits in neon paint of popular cine stars and Indian TV characters — that was the Hollywood-Bollywood zone of the t2 Party. Fittingly, this was where the party people danced the night away.

The candles hanging from the ceiling in the food section should have been a dead giveaway that one had walked into the Great Hall of Hogwarts and the Fantasy zone of the party, but you had to look around to see that Hedwig had brought in the Owl Post, Gollum was hissing ‘My Preciousssss’ from a placard and there were fantastical tales from films unfolding on the LED screens.

The entrance to the t2 Party set the mood for the evening with towering glow-in-the-dark pictures of iconic characters like Mogambo, James Bond, Professor Snape and Jack Sparrow flanking the stairs. The neon bulbs and wires glowing in the UV light added to the mood.
