While fans are loving Ayan Mukerji’s world building of the Astraverse in the first part of his promised trilogy, Bollywood celebrities are showering love on Brahmastra-Part One: Shiva too. Here’s how lead pair Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s colleagues are lauding the effort that went into making the VFX-heavy film that has grossed Rs 225 crore worldwide in three days. 

Kareena Kapoor Khan

The Kapoors seem to have loved the film the most and Kareena Kapoor Khan joined the brigade. The actress posted her short but sweet review of the film, saying it was an ‘unbelievable experience’. Producer Karan Johar also reposted her story, thanking her. 

Hrithik Roshan  

Ahead of his big release, Vikram Vedha, on September 30, Hrithik was all praise for every aspect of Brahmastra — from the action to VFX and even the sound design. Check out his tweet below.

Varun Dhawan 

Varun Dhawan took to Instagram to share his views on the film and urged his fans to experience it in the theatres. The Jugjugg Jeeyo actor lauded director Ayan Mukerji for his vision of ‘truly bringing the magic of cinemas alive on the big screen once again’. 

Arjun Kapoor

Arjun Kapoor had a lot to say about the film. For the Ek Villain Returns actor, Brahmastra: Part One- Shiva was ‘a ride like no other’ and cannot wait for Part 2 of the trilogy. 

Janhvi Kapoor 

Arjun’s cousin sister Janhvi also had a similar opinion about the film and talked about the pride she felt while watching it. The Goodluck Jerry actress also mentioned the happiness that came from being in a packed theatre, with the audience cheering for the film. 

Shanaya Kapoor 

Shanaya, who is set to make her Bollywood debut with Shashank Khaitan’s Bedhadak, also loved Ayan Mukerji’s magnum opus. She thanked Ayan for creating a world of its own. 

Siddharth Suryanarayan

The actor, known for his work in Rang De Basanti and his recent Disney+ Hotstar series Escaype Live, showered a lot of love on his favourite actors (Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt) and prayed that the film ‘rewards the lovers and thrashes the haters’.
